..pitching up your tent in the middle of a gorgeous farm, no roads, no troublesome neighbours, just a lake, rolling fields, a beer tent, great food and most importantly a main stage playing amazing music with your friends. Arrive at lunchtime on Friday, get stuck into some Pimms lazing around in the sunshine (we like to remain optimistic) whilst listening to some dreamy acoustic music during the afternoon. Then get settled into the big sounds as the sun starts to set across the lake by the main stage. You can see that we have an incredible line up of live bands for you to savour until midnight. If that's not enough, after midnight, move to the tents to dance the night away.
One of the main goals of Lubstock is to introduce live music to young people; we have designed the festival to be child friendly with an area specifically for people with children. The family area is a fenced off quiet area with its own facilities. We would advise that you bring your own childcare for your young children over the weekend so that you can be free to experience your own Lubstock experience once they've gone to bed!
It will also be an amazing opportunity for festival virgins. If you want a solution to a mid-life crisis, (whether you're having one or not!). Whether you've watched Glastonbury on TV, but never took the plunge (too many people, no showers and those loos....) then Lubstock is the festival for you.
If you're prepared to experiment and get excited at the thought of new and unsigned bands (no covers, all original music which has been written, produced and played by the bands) then Lubstock is the festival for you.
Because we are passionate about great music and that passion has driven us to spend every spare moment we have organising this festival. We're not doing it to make any money - ANY profit made will go to a number of local charities.
Please be aware that the car park is offsite. no cars will be allowed onto the campsite. Be prepared for a short walk! We will have a service for anyone who can't be bothered to lug their luggage onto the site or put up their tent. we will have a porter service at hand (at an extra charge) to make your life easy.
Public Transport - Regular trains from Kings Cross to Market Harborough and then a 5 minute taxi ride to Lubstock!
LEAVE NO TRACE. Please be aware that this is a working farm so leave no trace and respect the beautiful environment that we can enjoy over the weekend. This means that no glass (including any bottles of any sort) will be allowed in.
So dust off your tents, pack your wellies and get the weekend of the 13th - 15th July firmly in your diary.
Gates open at Midday on Friday and the fun ends after breakfast on Sunday.
We look forward to seeing you there!
